As we have said before our most popular product is the USB Business Cards (read our previous blog here). Our USB Business Cards actually come in a variety of formats. Each of the different formats have slight differences and benefits.
Wafer USB Card
The Wafer USB Card is one of our most popular products. There are a few distinct differences about the Wafer. The most obvious difference is that the USB Chip is always exposed. In almost every other USB Business Cards the USB chip is hidden and has to be flipped, slid, or removed to be visible. On the Wafer it is always there and always exposed. This is a great option when our customers are concerned that users they are giving the USB Cards will not know there is a USB inside of it.
The Wafer also has the largest print area for most of our common USB Cards as it is slightly larger in size. In addition to that the USB Chip is not center aligned, this is a very beneficial feature for anyone that does not want the center area of their artwork to be obstructed.
Wallet USB Card
The Wallet USB Card is our most popular version. It is also the premium version of the Wafer USB Card. On the Wallet USB Cards the USB chip is protected and not exposed. The biggest benefit of this is that the area in which the chip is housed can be printed over. We always recommend a Wallet USB Cards to a client that has beautiful artwork that they do not want cut off.
The Promotional Drives is also in the center of the USB Cards and has a longer chip than the Wafer USB cards. This longer chip makes it easier to insert into many types of USB ports and makes the design of the card more user friendly.
Alloy USB Cards
The Alloy USB Cards is our most premier version of the USB Cards. The biggest difference is that the entire body of the Alloy USB Cards is metallic. This very unique body gives the Alloy USB Cards more weight, a smoother feel and adds a metallic shine to the artwork. The biggest benefit of this it feels like a premium product. An Alloy USB Cards is guaranteed to leave a memorable impression because it so unique.
The card is very similar to the Wallet USB Cards in dimensions. The big difference between the two is that the chip area is completely flush with the face off the card. On the back of the USB Cards there is slight raise where the chip is housed. This means the area that interrupts the artwork is very small and almost the entire face of the card can be beautifully designed.
